Jason Calcannis sells out for pennies

Jason Callcannis sells out his weblogs inc business for pennies on the dollar to AOL.  He's hanging up his cleats very early.  I wonder why?

This is a bummer for me personally because at gnomedex I had a friendly little bet with Jason after he completely dissed the notion of podcasting and podtech.  The bet was that PodTech.net would have more traffic than all of this weblogs inc properties combined.   Well that bet is over that is unless I could trump the AOL traffic...hmmm not a bad idea... i'll work on that..

Seriously Jason nets $25 mill most likely cash and he had majority control of weblogs inc...not bad for about a years worth of work.
