Podcasting Setup Tutorial

Here is a nice setup tutorial for Podcasting.  Anyone interested would love to read this post by Steve.  Well done.  His setup is a bit over the geek top but super informative.  If everyone had a setup like that we would see more quality podcasts.  However Steve covers all the functional components of podcasting with screen shots and detailed commentary.

What's striking is how ludicrious all that stuff is. Haven't we reached the stage where inexpensively and quickly with stuff we already have on most pc or laptops we can assemble a podcast? I really don't want to go back to carrying around 3 head marantz and sony portable tape recorders, broadcast quality shure mikes and all the other stuff that we used in the radio days.
